As a kid, I found the world and other people to be really amazing. I found everything to be amazing, but also very scary. I always felt different - that I didn’t fit into anything.

Multi-talented Australian actor Keiynan Lonsdale is devoted to performance. From the age of two, his mum watched Keiynan eagerly dance in front of the TV, well aware that this would unfold into his bright future. Photographer Amber Mckee manages to demonstrate his graceful motion, capturing the ambitious young artist at home in his most comfortable state. Whilst we got the chance to listen to him discussing his experiences and struggles throughout life.

Keiynan has a range of exciting projects at hand. Next spring he is set to appear alongside Nick Robinson, Katherine Langford and Miles Heizer in the film ‘Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda’, based on the young adult novel of the same name. He also recently released his new single ‘Good Life’, which is a teaser for the full album that is being released in the early months of 2018. An album that is very much a reflection of the limits he has chosen to overcome this past year. Tomorrow, October 10th, Keiynan will resume his role as Wally West in season four of The CW’s ‘The Flash’.

Read more from the BBG Presents feature where you will find out more about the humble actor: How he dealt with coming out as bisexual earlier this year and his journey into normalising different sexualities, what we can expect from the new series of 'The Flash' and the stamp he aims to leave on the world.
