“I’m sorry I’m late, my head was in the clouds somewhere.” Wherever actor Charlie Plummer was for that moment, that’s where you want to be. For our new Autumn Winter '17 print issue, ‘Tales Of A New Generation’, we met the 18-year old actor in New York, where photographer Hannah Sider and stylist Von Ford framed him for his feature. Charlie has endless dreams, and 2017 seems to be the year where some of these are starting to become reality. Charlie was breathtaking in his role in 'Lean on Pete', written and directed by Andrew Haigh, and he definitely earned the award for 'best newcomer' at the Venice Film Festival for his role as Charley. Soon, he will appear in Ridley Scott's kidnap thriller ‘All the Money in the World’, where he plays real life kidnap victim John Paul Getty III alongside Kevin Spacey, Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg.

Whilst his characters often seem to be pretty dark, roles in which Charlie's talent really thrive, his own personality is much brighter. In his interview he talks about all his latest roles, including his first feature role in ‘King Jack’ that he also received much praise for. We also touch on what spirituality means to him, his love of long hair, being in touch with your emotions and what it’s like growing up within Generation Z.
