What do you need saving from? Are you going to suffocate in that bag, are you searching for the bargains, or do we need to simply save your soul? Christopher Shannon brings us another collection filled with mixed messages (literally), a touch of humour, pop art inspired prints and his identifiable popular twist on sportswear.

Distorted faces, three-dimensional block shapes and words such as "broke", "thanks 4 nothing" and "save me" graced the classic Shannon jumper this season. What we love most about the ground breaking designer is his ambition to steer away from tradition, reaching out to more relatable and relevant concepts. Shannon's AW15 collection showed us a mix of wearable items with more "out there" components such as the Christopher Shannon sac scrunched up under the model's arms and the humorous yet slightly terrifying bag-heads that walked down the catwalk. The menswear designer collaborated with Cat Footwear yet again this season, creating a statement with not just garments, but footwear as well.

We adore the originality that Christopher Shannon brings to menswear each season. This time, the designer drew inspiration from something quite simple - supermarkets, bargain hunts, super savers. Simple, yet genius. The prominent colour palette and recognisable stripes of Tescos made up the majority of Shannon's collection, in the forms of exaggerated popper track pants, matching sports jackets and knitted jumpers. Sainsbury's also made in appearance with orange plastic bags and geometric shapes that covered oversized jackets and jumpers.

Er, okay so we might not have been able to spot too many models.. because Shannon decided to cover their beautiful faces with recycles plastic bags. But we respect his very talented artistic mind. We did, however, spot issue 7 boy Matt Ardell (FM) and Select boy Sang Woo Kim amongst the other bag-heads.

Now, where can we hunt down a "thanks 4 nothing" jumper? A definite must-have wardrobe item for a few months time.
