Truth be told, I'm not sure what exactly it was that made me first pick up a camera, and made me begin to capture a world of unspoken words. But here I am, two short years later with my latest project, "Fitting Inside A Box Would Be Real Nice".

This project began somewhere in the depths of my mind, where I began to remenisce the times where posters covered my walls, I kissed my Spice Girls poster before bed at night and my dreams could really be as big as theirs. I began to realise this magic I had, isn't such a thing anymore. My sister is 11, and her walls are bare.

Why? Are we the generation where what was the "poster" boy lovingly blue-tacked to our wall is now confined to our Instagram feed? Instantly accessible, instantly obsess-able. Bearing this in mind, I began to notice the trends we obsess over on social media. Casting 10 boys I found had the kind of quirks that would make one look back again, I began to recreate the notion of the poster boy, creating a series of posters that belong tacked to the wall once again. As each boy is brought before the lens, a top worn by all has a piece cut away, creating an indifference as the series becomes one.
