Sometimes you have to disconnect to stay connected. To empty your thoughts and reveal the bigger picture. Sometimes you have to do some physical exploring - open your eyes to discover the beauty that is found in unexpected places. We are somewhat controlled by the technical devices that feed us with information every day, a constant replacement of our social interactions. We make our daily commute to work, avoiding eye contact with the people that take a seat next to us on the train. The importance of disconnecting ourselves and taking the time for solitude. These are things that Charlie Wright, a talented young actor in LA, is fully aware of.
A boy born into the entertainment industry, with art embedded into his DNA, is beautifully photographed by Dani Brubaker for Boys by Girls' Autumn Winter 2015 issue "Growing Sideways" Charlie is captured in a flexible stance as the fluidity in his movement reflects his acting talents. Aside from acting and modelling, Charlie speaks about his love for archaeology, his friends and his family in his Issue 9 interview, as well as his thoughts on the influence of Social Media in the current generation.
