It’s that time of year again, when cheeks are rosy and lips are chapped. The pavements are scattered with the crunch of fallen leaves and the air is just that little bit crisper. Day and night blur into a continuum of stars and muted beams of light through the grey streets. Basically, it’s the kind of weather that makes getting out of your pyjamas in the morning very difficult.

Luckily, we’ve got Parajumpers. With jackets designed for arctic survival, they give that feeling of diving under your duvet after a long day. It's like being able to wear the first drop of a hot shower hitting your icy skin. After head designer Massimo Rossetti met a member of Alaska’s 210th Rescue Squadron, he was inspired to start a line of innovative jackets that offer life-saving protection from the bitter cold.

As part of our BBG Video Diaries series, we travelled to the white cliffs on the coast of England in exclusive film ‘The Pursuit of Adventure’. Editor-in-Chief Cecilie Harris captured modern day adventurers George and Harry and presenter Fenn O’Meally, as they battled the gales and took shelter underneath their fur-lined hoods, whilst exploring the Brighton wilderness. There is something so peaceful about fully enjoying the beauty of winter, allowing the fresh air to cleanse the worries from your mind.

The streamlined, functional design comes with a removable down-padded lining for optimised insulation. While the hard-wearing nylon material is essential for daily life, whether you’re storming the city streets or wrestling polar bears under the Northern lights. That kind of versatility is something that certainly works for us. We love.
